Learn how to be safe around the helicopter
It is important that all passengers understand the safety briefing before taking your flight. There will be a short video played before taking your flight. If you have any questions about the information presented, please ask your ground crew.
PLEASE PAY ATTENTION TO GROUND CREW
The ground crew is there to assist you and to keep you safe. While on the flight deck pay close attention to ground crew in pilots. Make sure to hold onto young children at ALL TIMES.
ONLY APPROACH HELICOPTER FROM THE FRONT
When walking to the helicopter follow your ground crew and remain in the front of the helicopter until instructed to enter the helicopter.
When exiting the aircraft walk straight to the front of the helicopter and wait for ground crew to lead you off of the flight deck.
HOLD ONTO LOOSE ARTICLES
When around the helicopter loose articles can blow around. DO NOT CHASE ITEMS! If your loose article blows away from you notify the ground crew right away.
WE ARE NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR ARTICLES THAT BLOW INTO THE RIVER! Please secure your hats, scarfs, or any other loose articles to ensure safety as well as not losing any personal belongings.
OTHER SAFETY INFORMATION
SEAT BELTS ARE TO BE WORN AT ALL TIMES! Ground crew will fasten and unfasten seat belts for you.
There is no smoking on the barge or in the helicopter.
WEATHER
Your safety is our number one concern. We do not fly in thunderstorms, rain, or low visibility. It is the pilots go or no-go decisions. Just because it looks clear does not mean a storm has not been reported in the area!
